During EOTO #2, I learned a lot of things that I didn't know before that class period. Some of those things were significant parts of society that I didn't know were so vital to society.
Another term that I did not know of until this presentation was the difference between Disinformation, Misinformation, and malinformation. The difference between disinformation misinformation and malinformation is much bigger than one may think. Misinformation is false information malinformation is true and factual information that is conveyed to inflict harm on others and then disinformation is false information that is intended to mislead.
These three things affect us a lot because we don't know when we have been affected by disinformation or misinformation online a lot of times you can't tell what things have been confirmed to be true and what things online have been so wrong because media today has so much misinformation malformation and disinformation that it's hard to trust anything for exactly what it is.
It directly affects us also through the fact that disinformation malformation and misinformation, can affect the way that people help their community improve their Public Health and run certain businesses. because when one thing is affected by Miss information or mail information it begins a domino effect of more and more people being affected by that male information and even if you figure out that it wasn't correct information it's hard to take that information back because so many people have already heard it.
These two things can affect us in various different ways but I think that they both are very important to know now in a world that is full of dangerous threats both to our privacy and to our information and how true it is in today's world.
